The price was great but it was a bit disappointing that it came unassembled. Judging by the reviews, these are constant complaints. Maybe you should add some more bubble wrap to the rack. It came together easily. You will need a 5/16 socket or wrench to tighten the reflectors. 1/2" socket or wrench for top mount screw and crescent wrench 🔧. The bottom nut has an 11/16 socket for a 5/8" socket and an extension. I'm 53 years old and I put it on the carpet to avoid scratching it as per the instructions. I look forward to trying this out and not climbing onto the roof of an SUV. I will post a trip report after the weekend. Remember that you don't tighten the bottom screws until you've added the top brace, as you'll need to lighten the side a bit to line up the top holes.
