Good bottom plate
I pad all my chains just to be on the safe side. It's a little pricey for what they are and difficult to set up unless everything is lined up just right, which can be tricky when trying to get to a kayak with limited space. However, they work very well and you don't have to worry about the track failing after installation. Holds up very well in salt water conditions.
- Requires a 0.5" x 8" flat surface in the hull and access to the interior of the hull
