WARNING: This is a cheap and dangerous product. The cup is made of flimsy cheap plastic and has absolutely no sunlight. The motor is so small that it can only be started every 30 seconds. No on/off switch! You need to hold the plastic cup upside down and squeeze hard to start the engine. And since the device doesn't have an off button, you have to hold down to a) turn the device on and b) keep the device on for as long as needed. BUT WORSE, THE DEVICE STARTS TO WORK IMMEDIATELY AFTER PUTTING INTO THE SOCKET - THIS IS ALSO DANGEROUS. Compare this cheap and dangerous device with the cheap Oster (see picture). For $10 more you get a sturdy glass jar, an 8-speed motor with pulse-to-smoothie settings, 6-cup capacity, a solid base to hold the jar in place, and a quiet one , safe operation, including an on/off switch. I understand that these two products have a 4.2 rating, but having used both extensively I have a very hard time believing that Oster is not only better, safer and more versatile, but also more value with a significantly longer one lifespan.
