I have a 6 month old Griffon/Lab mix who needed some help training while on walks. I wanted something durable, strong, and comfortable for both the dog and myself. I have to say this is a great leash. The tugging with a retractable cord was painful. I hated how my dog Rocky would tug me around. I went on Revain to find something with a little resistance and GOT IT. This is why I am leaving a review. This cord was perfect. Long enough for Rocky to be out ahead of me like a dog should be able to do but close enough for me to talk/command him. He is a very loyal dog and with this cord leash, it didn't take long for heal, stay, here. I will never go to a retractable leash ever again.The durability is amazing. This thing is thicker than an anchor rope but very light. You can tell its quality thread.The handle fits my large hand and is very easy to grasp. Love the extra ring for any type of accessory that tags along.
