Bought to light a 40 gallon RES tank. +2 stars for the concept: I really wanted to like this combo lamp. This is a great idea that offers a simple all-in-one solution to your lighting problems. It mostly comes as described and from a company with a seemingly good reputation. The bulbs fit in the headlight and didn't stick out at all. And while she was working, our turtle warmed up a lot. - 2 stars for performance: the product appears to be defective. As previously mentioned, the UVB bulb (which according to the packaging was supposed to last a year) failed in less than a month. I can't tell if it was a lightbulb or an incandescent bulb, but since most other reviewers with this problem said it happened with a couple of lightbulbs, I'm guessing the lightbulb and don't want to risk spending money on expensive lightbulbs to burn to find it yourself - 1 star for incomprehensible advertising: lamps are too weak for large pools. A 50W heater lamp will not bring large aquariums to the ideal warm-up temperature. I wish this was stated prior to purchase. For a dual light setup, I suggest simply purchasing 2 domes, a UV lamp, and a heat lamp separately. This allows you to adapt to your turtle's specific environment. Have returned this item.
