2nd update: Have been using this seat on a second bike for almost 4 years. As a backup bike, it doesn't ride as much as my main bike, but my best estimate is that I've put about 1,500 miles on this seat. Well, after four years and about 1500 miles, this seat is showing its age. The seams have stretched in a few places, and there are a few small tears - at least one of which is probably my fault. I will probably replace this towards the end of the year (Nov/Dec 2021). I think I got my money's worth, although I hope it would have done over 1500 miles if it hadn't sat in my shed for four years. --------------------------------------------------------------- - -------- (Original review) I waited to write a review until I had enough time to really see how well this bike seat would work - and I love it so much! This is my favorite bike seat and I've tried at least five or six different seats. The more I use this chair, the more I like it. It's very comfortable, to the point where I don't wear padded cycling shorts for less than 12-15 miles! And before I bought this seat, I wore padded cycling shorts on EVERY ride. I've tried five or six seats - ranging in price from $10 to $60 - and this is definitely my favorite and the most comfortable. I've had it for about seven months, haven't put many miles on it yet, but it still looks brand new, so I don't expect durability to be an issue. My average ride is about 10 miles or so, but I've covered a whopping 23 miles in under two hours with this seat, and it's still comfortable. UPDATE: I've had this seat for over a year now and have put in hundreds more miles and the seat is holding up well. Except for one scratch (my fault) it still looks like new. And it's just as convenient!
