Only used for a week. Long story short, I had to wait for an electrician to come to the house to replace the overhead light in the garage that was wired to the outside lights. The electrician couldn't come for a week. I needed some kind of lighting to get it out because I didn't have an overhead light and since it was my garage the light couldn't be placed centrally to the cars in the garage or high enough. I bought this and an extension cord to get the light where I need it. I used command hooks to keep the cable where I need it without leaving holes when I no longer need it. Only downside and reason for a star deduction is that even when used with an LED bulb it gets very warm, almost shocking. , I was a bit confused. I'd probably continue to use it as an overhead light supplement, but I was afraid it might overheat if I forget to turn it off. I think a simple solution would be to hook it up to a timer that turns itself off automatically.
