I may have made a mistake and ordered the wrong item, but a "mug on wheels" for a chair on wheels would be perfect for me to keep it standing still and/or not banging on the carpet. That's why I bought these devices and as such they aren't very useful as they don't have enough lip to keep the wheel inside and with the almost half an inch extra height the chair rolls out easily back on the carpet. However, as hardwood floor protection under standard furniture, they are the most outstanding and fully-fledged 5-star product. I've since used them under my chairs and sofa on a hardwood floor and they work great for that purpose. 3 stars for use as hubcaps and 5 stars for protecting hardwood floors.
