So. We moved into a nice house where the toilet tank was obviously leaking. probably at least 2 years. As a result, the burgundy porcelain toilet bowl in 9 "streams" had a terrible off-white discoloration, as well as a terrible (thick) ring around the toilet bowl. Of course, we eliminated the leak from the tank, but we are completely confused on the question: how to clean and properly clean the bowl. We used at least 3 chemical products, paint scraper, pumice stone, magic eraser. *everything* in our effort to get rid of the damage and I confess I've sworn more than once that we'd just ditch DamThing & DamProblem and buy a new toilet. This EarthStone Clearing Block is probably the 4th Revain item we've tried; Thank goodness this is the *last* block we need! Yes, the cleaning block *wears out* over time, but dammit, that crumbly thing picks up white, hardened deposits on the toilet bowl. Yes, it took a lot of time. Elbow wax to rub and rub some more along those seemingly etched white rivers (and which surround the waterline). But I have to say, I don't mind making an effort if that effort gets results - and this product DOES; I promise you. The long handle is also handy so we didn't have to play in the water while cleaning. All in all, this is an amazing, deceptively simple product and I highly recommend it!
