In general this product does what it says on the tin. It is very easy to "install" and holds my phone perfectly. But I have 2 complaints that are related. The "rod" holding the phone holder is too short! Once you insert the phone mount into the cup holder, it only rises 4-5 inches! I could just rest the phone on my lap - it's literally the same height. I don't wear glasses to drive and I don't want to wear them over that to look at my phone - so low down lol. I drive a 2014 Jeep Compass and when I put my car in 'drive' the shifter hits the phone and sometimes knocks over the mount. Therefore, the "stick" needs to be higher to avoid this problem. It's a problem enough that I'll probably have to look for a different phone mount.
