I bought this clock for my daughter who like me can sleep in no matter what. Trying to wake her up is an effort, and even cranking the guitar amp next to her bed takes a little time to wake her up. Yes, I've done that many times. When school went back to school, she needed something to wake her up in the morning. This watch solved the problem immediately. The alarm clock itself has 7 volume levels that you can choose from soft to loud rock concert. The shaker feels like an earthquake happening right below you. Together you wake up very quickly. The clock looks great and the reflective surface of the mirror comes in handy as we only have one bathroom and god knows women love mirrors in the morning. The only thing we would like is the possibility of turning off the screen to use it as a mirror. It has 7 levels of brightness that you can adjust, but even on the lowest you can see numbers. The only way to fix this problem is to make sure you have a backup battery installed and actually unplug the clock to turn off the screen and then plug it back in. All in all a great purchase and worth the money!
