Review on Dual Row LED Smoked 3rd Third Tail High Mount Stop Brake Light Cargo Lamp for Silverado Sierra GMT800 1999-2007 by Adrian Retana

Looks a lot nicer than a standard headlight and the LEDs are very bright so I feel like when I hit the brakes this light makes me more visible. BUT as many others have pointed out and I ordered knowing this would be a potential problem, the shim is too thin leaving a gap (which could also be corrected with a better fit). Since my truck is black I bought some black silicone glue before the light arrived and glued a ring around the hole, then installed the light and after screwing in added another bead along the top. It's definitely waterproof now, but I'm pretty sure it would leak without the addition of silicone, which is a shame. such an easy decision for the manufacturer. Minus 2 stars for ignoring an obvious problem!
