works fine (as long as it doesn't fall apart while drilling)
Good features: I just held it and twisted the drill bit slightly and could tighten the chuck and remove. Use a glove if you have to do it this way. A few seconds. It took a long time for my drill to make a much smaller hole (it wasn't a rotary hammer). Check out my review of the Dewalt Cordless Hammer, I installed this cartridge on.One star deducted because it isn't keyless.UPDATE: The adapter HAPPENED dangerously the third time I used it.The shaft came loose from the head and then became cross-threaded so I couldn't put it back put it together properly. I didn't want to spend more than $40 for an adapter, but I think I'll have to. The two-piece construction held together by a screw seems to fall apart while drilling. Another reviewer of a similar adapter warned of the same issue. Unfortunately I have to withdraw my 4 star rating.
