Weak magnetic switch on this model

I had high hopes but was disappointed. The magnetic switch installed in the device is weak (65 lbs I believe) and will rotate or slide if you apply more than 3/16 inch pressure on the pen board with thin fingers. "Thick, so 1/2 inch, which results in a lot less pressure for the same compression. I suspect it kept coming up in testing, so they reduced the strength of the fingers by making them thin. But we all know we need pressure, so all you have to do is press harder. NO! I just turn or turn around when the curl on my table pushes less than 5 lbs (side load) it pushes it out of the cast iron plate. Bottom line: if you're using this on thin stock or veneer it will work, otherwise it won't hold the pressure needed to easily hold a 5" board on a table. Skip and make your own with two Switch 150 plywood magazines and standard pegboard, saving your fingers and your labor.
