Review on Original Nintendo Drive Replacement Plug by Terry Kohl

My Wii drive has been broken for a few years now but I kept it because I have some better downloads. My kids have grown up a bit and started inviting friends over, so I was dying to get my CDs back. I've tried a number of fixes to no avail and finally landed on this gem. I was very pleasantly surprised when, despite the description, it can actually play GameCube games! To be honest, it was the only thing that kept me going for so long. Just make sure you get Nintendo's proprietary Y-screwdriver, or what's actually a pretty easy install will turn into an absolute nightmare. Pros: A simple fix for an otherwise healthy Wii system. Easy installation with the right tools. The disc is in the same style as the original so you won't get confused trying to follow the replacement video guide. Also plays Gamecube games! Cons: Requires special tools to replace. The screws are tiny. May be difficult for those with limited manual dexterity or limited vision
