The motor and controller swap was quick and everything worked as it should. However, I spent the next few hours troubleshooting why it wasn't working, it turned out that the door switch also needed replacing. I thought the old one would fit, but either it's defective or the new device needs a new switch (included). The installation guide has great step-by-step troubleshooting guides on the electrical part of this setup. We strongly encourage you to take the time to go through them to ensure everything is in order before making the final cable connections and sealing them. I didn't and had to disconnect the wiring to troubleshoot.
