This monitor's picture is superb at 1080p, which is a good testament to its age. This is my second TUF 27", the second is a curved version. The bezels are very thin but there is still a black border. Expect 3/8" from the edge to the actual display. The high refresh rate is for gaming good but to be honest there won't be much difference between 1080p monitors these days mine both look fine and have no pixel anomalies what this block shines with is its stand! It adjusts it in almost every way imaginable. It has the usual tilt, but it can also be rotated or swiveled in the horizontal plane, as well as swiveling on the base, and best of all, it has a tensioning system that allows you to easily adjust the height, which is incredibly useful when you have multiple monitors When I eventually move from 1080p I plan to use these stands for everything I own. If they aren't compatible I will make them compatible. lol I wish more Manufacturers would have invested more in their stands like this one.
