No tension spring: my feedback

This item says there is a tension spring in the latch to hold the bar but there is nothing to keep it in place. The bolt does not work well with doors that have a gap.

Pros

Looks great and is a lot less expensive than others.

Wasn’t sure about the product. Looking for something really sturdy. Bought these as a test. Have 8 foot tall French doors that lead to a balcony on the second story of a house on top of a hill. We get a lot of strong winds. I ordered a set to test them out. Absolutely love them. Easy to install and very sturdy. Ordering more now for my other French doors.
