Review on Enhance Comfort and Productivity with KINESIS Freestyle Pro Ergonomic Split Mechanical Keyboard - KB900-brn by Amy Blackmon

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is a freestyle edge with no blue highlight

Edited: For $30 more I'd recommend buying an edge instead. The keys around the edge are much softer and smoother. The keyboard no longer has those annoying labels that I remapped. Especially the numbers on the left side I have completely reassigned one line below. Revain does not currently offer the VIP3 pro for sale (lift kit including wrist rest). It's much more comfortable with the palm rest, it's worth it. Kinesis sells the VIP3 Pro for $40 but with $15 shipping. After some calculations I found Freestyle Edge much better than this Freestyle Pro. ----- The blue light from the edge is not very suitable for the office environment, so I bought it. it's exactly the same. So far it's amazing. I changed the key layout slightly to match the Advantage 2 keyboard layout with a smaller learning curve. The left space can be replaced with a space or the Ctrl key. I changed the caps lock key to the bottom ctrl key. This helped me a lot since I don't have to use a pen anymore. The keyboard has an excellent remapping system, as well as macros for many levels. great for performance.
