Bought these for our chairs with stiletto legs to protect our hardwoods. Choose "clear" because the legs are made of wrought iron and the solid wood is oak. I thought they were completely invisible. Look at the photos, they are clearly not transparent. They look like gray bubbles. Feet just don't slip. When we tried to move the chairs in and out the legs just came off the legs. I tried putting felt protectors on the bottom of the legs but they came off the legs when we moved the chairs. Finally found these little felt bottomed baskets that fit and fit perfectly on these legs. Now we have the perfect solution. The only regret is that I ordered black or dark brown color of these legs. You will be much less noticeable.
