Nice knobs but these locks don't work properly. I bought them back in the summer of 2019 but only recently started replacing my doors and hardware and have just noticed a problem and it's too late to return them. So if you turn the latch counterclockwise to lock, the up/down orientation will be locked and the left/right orientation will be unlocked. Well, in this case it's the other way around. You still rotate counterclockwise to lock, but up/down orientation is unlocked and left/right orientation is locked. Look at the picture - the top picture is unlocked, the bottom one is locked. This is very frustrating for us and especially frustrating for the guests who have problems every time. I'd appreciate if someone calls from the manufacturer, but at least explains to the seller why it's the other way around. I've done this many times and locks have never looked like this. This is not standard! Don't buy, save yourself the confusion.
