LG is a leader. So why can't he get these things to work properly?

After reading several reviews many of which are mixed as to what to think of this device. I got into a bad choice. Bought a brand new unit and arrived on time. Easy install and after a few tweaks to get it working I bought my first Blu-ray only to find out it couldn't read it. I had another one and tried it to no avail. In fact, I was very upset when something happened to me that seems to haunt all other buyers of this device. Those of you that got it working are a heck of a lot better than what I have. After deciding to contact LG by phone (bad idea) I was assisted by two people until my call was dropped both times without any help from them. And when I searched the library of ideas for a way to turn that lemon into lemonade, I found nothing. So I decided to try writing to someone hoping to get a better answer. I seem to have too much faith in people doing the right thing. LG's official response, for the first time, was to attempt a factory reset. I've tried that several times without success. Another tip was to clean the player as the lens could get dirty. Well, before I get into that, let's point something out here. This unit was brand new and needed protection from things like this so you didn't have to clean it until you needed it. At this point in my mind I sent another email with the same question. They replied that even brand new the lens can still get dirty. Needless to say, this was the last straw for me. I contacted the seller and returned the item. I didn't want to endure the headache of someone telling me I had a dirty player when it was brand new. So, like many others in this section, it's a bunch of junk. Do not buy this player or buy such things online. I had to submit a refund request for the 2 year product plan, you can also see an overview of this on my profile page. So please do not buy this player at all.
