**FAR** LESS than I expected

and even more updated review. this thing is really a **BAD** purchase. as i've used it over the last couple of weeks, i was beginning to think something was wrong with my computer sound. but just now i plugged my headphones directly into the computer and guess what the Nobsound Little Bear is the cause of the sound degradation. *DO* *NOT* *WASTE* *YOUR* *MONEY* *ON* *THIS* *THING*!updated review. well, to go along with other reviewers, the range in the volume control IS annoying. i've decided just to keep it turned up all the way and to adjust each component of what is plugged into the switch to be at an equal level. *BUT* even more annoying is something i've just discovered, devices plugged into adjacent sockets can create crosstalk to the adjacent channel that it's switched to. for example, the output from my TiVo is plugged into channel one and the output from my Macbook Pro is plugged into channel 2. i'd been watching/listening to the TiVo and decided to listen to music from the Macbook. when i turned the selector over to channel 2, i could still hear, faintly, the content from channel one. when i switched over to channel 3, that went away. these two things have caused me to give this gadget two less stars. Sorry Nobsound, you need to try harder.Pros: Build REALLY well. The connector jacks on it are really well soldered to the circuit board as are the selector switch and the volume control. I *REALLY* like the small size as it takes up very little space on my already crowded desktop, yet the size of the selector and volume knobs make it easy to use. (I'd advise using Velcro to make it stay in place.)Cons: Even tho the pictures plainly showed it's an open frame, not in an enclosure, I think I would have preferred it in a box instead. And, as other reviewers have commented, the range on the volume control isn't great. But honestly, that really doesn't bother me. I'm already *VERY* used to changing volume on the devices that are plugged into it.

Pros
  • Ideal for use in smaller setups where space is at a premium
Cons
  • Limited audio range
