I assembled the system when the dollar cost 35. And I got this stone for only 8k. And I am very glad that I chose it. It's been 2 years, and he is quoted at the level of his fellow from the 6th generation (6600k) and does not lose much to him. It works for me in conjunction with 2 gtx 770 and easily opens them without much straining. But I love when the iron squeezes everything out of itself, so I started overclocking it. Although in the stock state it easily copes with its tasks, but it was not in vain that I paid extra for the letter K in the title. On a cooler with 1 copper tube from dipkul, I was able to conquer only 4.4 GHz. At the same time, temperatures reached hundreds. Of course I ran for more powerful cooling to the store. I took the noctua d-15 and not in vain, in theory such a giant is redundant for i5, but for me it’s just right. I already took 4.8 GHz with it, but during stress tests the stone heats up over 100, so I left the working 4.6 GHz. In games 70-75 C. I think I guessed with the stone and the time of purchase, and in price it more than doubled. It's a pity that I then stinted on a pair of gtx 780 ti. Now there is not enough memory for 770. And the percent will undoubtedly cope with Pascal.
