These are nice plates because they are plastic and can be thrown away. Perfect for everyday indoor or outdoor entertaining without worrying about broken plates. I love that they can be hand washed (not dishwasher safe) so I can reuse them for an extra appointment or more. Or if I don't feel like washing all the dishes, I can just throw them away without much worry and write off the price of the entertainment! Yes, they cost more than some other disposable cutlery, but that's not the case. not what I'm considering for everyday use. They cannot be used in the microwave or washed in the dishwasher. When I invite a few people over for lunch or a gala dinner, you can imagine that I have already spent a lot of time shopping, cleaning, preparing food for my guests, cooking, serving, etc., so if I only collect the pleasure can all utensils, cutlery, cups, tablecloths, dishes etc etc etc and at the end just put everything in a big bin bag and then just chill then I guess I will. I love the idea of having nice plastic plates to make my food look good and make my guests feel special. Considering how much I spend on food, drinks and alcohol the price for good plates is negligible! And it's worth it when it comes to cleaning. Being a great host or hostess is great fun (that's why we throw parties!), but it's so exhausting. Cheap paper or styrofoam boards look cheap and can often lead to disaster if they don't do the job. If you are having a buffet at your wedding, they are a great alternative to cheap disposable plates and will make your special occasion more stylish. Why spend thousands of dollars on a wedding dress, wedding favors, honeymoon, limos, a reception hall and so on, and then only spend a penny on a plate to serve your guests wonderful food alongside a champagne fountain and a magnificent towering wedding cake? Whether it's for entertaining friends, family or both, it's the perfect way to have beautiful tableware that you can just throw away. These are plates that make you feel like you've prepared something special for your guests, while at the same time making cleanup more of a challenge than throwing it all away!
