I attach it to the control panel (on one of the small stands for a phone or tablet) of the treadmill in the gym. Perfect. The clip is very strong. The airflow is far greater than any of the weak fans built into some treadmills. It needs to be charged quite often, but it's just a matter of remembering to bring it inside and plug it into my computer's USB port overnight. Now the fan has to be recharged much less often. Update 09/25/17: When adjusting the angle - always hold the gooseneck very carefully so as not to damage the connector - the fan broke and fell to the ground. The fan is still running, but the plastic tabs holding the connector in place have broken off and are visible inside the fan. Cannot be glued with superglue. I asked the seller to replace the clip assembly.
