I need a dehumidifier to reduce the humidity in my honey extraction house (320 square feet). First, I bought a dehumidifier rated for 460 square feet. ft. After 3 days of operation, the humidity could not be reduced below 55%. Bought a second dehumidifier rated for 3000 sqft. ft. on sale. It was buggy and didn't work in any mode. Returned both and bought a Shinco 2000 sq. Feet for medium-sized rooms. I had to get the humidity below 40% to dry the honey before bottling. This dehumidifier works so well that I had to install a drain hose since I couldn't get up to empty the tank. I know my room is small and this unit is designed for a large room, but I need to lower the humidity quickly instead of waiting for days. This Shinco works and exceeds my expectations.
