Glitter Brush Set

This is an overview of Kingart's original gold colored blended round brushes. The brush heads were protected by a transparent plastic tube. Nice touch (Fig. 1). Quality Let's start with the quality of the brushes. Will they rise with time? The brush consists of three elements that must work properly to make the brush effective (Fig. 2).1. Pen: Most pens are round (although there are exceptions) and designed to fit comfortably in your hand while drawing. Some made of wood... some made of different plastics. They can be varnished, painted or, in the case of wood, stained. Brushes with longer handles are used for canvas work; while shorter handles are better suited for detail work. The handles in this set are very comfortable to hold. They thicken slightly as they get closer to the tip, then expand slightly to hold and control the brush. Because they have shorter handles, they are ideal for detail work.2. Tip: The tip is very important as it connects the brush to the head. The brush loosens over time due to the cheap tip; essentially useless. These tips are some of the best I've seen, nickel plated and double swage to keep the grip and head secure. To be honest, I've only painted two or three pictures with these brushes; However, I believe they will last a very, very long time.3. Head: The head is the working end of the brush and contains the fibers used to hold color as you create your masterpiece. The heads in this set are blended fibers that hold their shape; also with lots of color. When painting with watercolours, they absorb the paint, keep it drip-free and apply it evenly to the paper, depending on the line pressure (Image-3). Plus, they won't leave lint on your work. I HATE when that happens. In the last few days I've finished two watercolors and one gouache (gouache paints have some of the properties of watercolor paints, but are more opaque). In all cases I am very satisfied with their work. FYI: I also used a mop and some flat brushes from another company to finish these paintings (Figure 4, Figure 5). FYI: This brush set is defined as "Mixed Media" so it works with watercolors. Gouache, acrylic, oil. I have not yet experimented with acrylic or oil paints. Conclusion β€’ Robust construction β€’ Easy to control β€’ Holds shape (even under lots of paint) β€’ Leaves no fibers on your work β€’ Paint releases gently and predictably. for some, price can be a stumbling block; However, if you're looking for a great brush set that will see you through a lot of art, I'll definitely consider it. After all, an artist relies on a good set of brushes to bring their creations to life... They have to be an extension of your hand, and this is just such a set. For reference: besides this set, Kingart has ten other sets of brushes and also produces its own paints (acrylic, metallic, watercolor, gouache, oil). If the quality of their paints is as good as their brushes, I might have to give it a try. Happy painting.
