Did the trick in my review
I had seen the symptom of timer failure before (ice on the panel over the evaporator) so I knew exactly what the issue was.This replaced the timer in a 32 year old Sears Kenmore freezer. Don't let the shape and the fact that it is plastic worry you. Read the directions and put the loose lead on the terminal where it should go. Also be aware that there is no ground lug on this unit, not needed since it is plastic. This kit also came with the needed screws. All in all, $12 and 30 minutes and back to 10 below in the freezer.
- Great value and easy to install on my refrigerator
- The Repairwares Refrigerator Defrost Timer doesn't work with all refrigerator models, limiting its usefulness to only specific models
