It just hurts too much.
So it really does what it's supposed to do, which is to stop pets from chewing. However, the installation, like inserting chords into the tube, is so cumbersome that I have tried "prying it open" with various kitchen utensils, inserting a cable, disconnecting by hand, etc. None of these worked well, and after about a full length of the tube my fingers were _raw_. Next time I would probably choose something else.
