As you can see in another customer's photo the clips on the ends are plastic. I think it's only a problem if you snap it the wrong way. If you do this and find that the little hook doesn't line up. Good luck releasing the latch without breaking the end. Although they got up very easily, with no problems. I couldn't even get far enough to see if the plastic end would support the weight of the top gate. I had to change them. Now they're both garbage. ABS plastic ends will not withstand removal. Will order another set and try again. My thing is not against the seller. Just the product itself.
