They worked great at first! I've used a few in decorative pumpkins, in a rustic wooden decorative candle holder, and around the house in place of actual candles and have received many compliments on the flowers. After about 1.5-2 weeks I noticed that I had tried to change the colors on some of them and I couldn't. The colors stick. I flipped the switches off and on again; I switched to all new batteries etc but more and more of them didn't even go back to 'white' after being a different color. This will happen after about 1.5-2 weeks of non-daily use (use every 2-4 days with a 4-6 hour timer). Eventually, all the candles trailed until they expired on the return/exchange date. Despite changing the batteries on all candles and remote controls several times, they no longer even glow in any color.
