I have some drywall scrapers (flexible and hard), some putty knives and some heavy duty floor scrapers. While each of these tools does an excellent job, they aren't very useful for small quick fixes and aren't as handy as this feature-rich tool. My father showed me one he bought in a big store a year or two ago and it was very nice; One edge is great for undercutting and tearing down edges and wallpaper, the other edge is great for general scraping. You can use them as spatulas in a pinch. Using it as a paint can opener is fine, but I usually keep a can opener with my paint cans, which is a lot easier to use. In my opinion, using it as a hammer is just plain ridiculous, but I think it will work in a pinch. If I was going to spend more than a few minutes doing any of the tasks this tool does, I would definitely use a dedicated tool. . Most of the time though, all I have to do is clean and putty a spot or take something out, touch up the area around it and then put it back on. This tool is perfect for most of the time I work with drywall. This tool is durable, the handle is comfortable, and it arrived quickly and intact. Highly recommended!
