Review on Powerful Logitech Z623: 400W Home Speaker System - Black - Get Immersed! by Seo-jun Jun

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm very happy with the product, it's very satisfying.

If you are a fan of good stereo sound for drying music (I mean music with strings / wind instruments and vocals) - then this kit is not suitable, to put it mildly, it is not for music . because the subwoofer is evil, but the speakers are powerful though , but their frequency response is clearly insufficient to please the listener. At the same time, they build the stereo picture itself, but without depth and absolutely no involvement in the sound + vocals are slightly failed (IMHO). For percussion instruments and modern electronic, rock, hip-hop, pop music - what you need! In general, probably the best for a computer for a sane price tag (end of 02202222) that you can buy now . P. S.: I'll measure the frequency response - I'll post it later.

Pros
  • 1) Powerful sound. The phase inverter does not hum even at a very high volume (I give up before the speakers begin to distort the sound .). The bass itself is of course slightly soapy / not accurate, because. its body type is not "closed box"; 2) These speakers are for films in the first place, because. have a very explosive sound (bottoms and tops (tsikalki)). For music, I didn’t like them (I’ve been doing hi-fi stereo systems for a long time and I know how to evaluate speakers, IMHO); 3) THX certification (as I understand it, this gives at least some chance for sound quality in computer speakers :); 4) Control on / off, volume, as well as a headphone jack on the right speaker - very convenient; 5) the wire coming from the right speaker is thick and single, which is convenient and practical. 6) Look great and have a unique design, not these square nested cubes. 7) The subwoofer is heavy, the speakers are moderately heavy with strips (from the bottom of the speakers) for "gluing" to the table (so that they don't move).
Cons
  • Input only Jack 3.5 (3 pin) and 2 RCA
