Review on 🚽 Fluidmaster 8300 Flush 'n Sparkle Toilet Bowl Cleaning System with Bleach Cartridge - for effective automatic cleaning by Donald Blasko

We have a couple of Toto Drake toilets at home and after cleaning every 3-4 days we had to go back and re-clean exactly where the water is in the bowl. I'm sure it has something to do with our district's water or our water softener. not cleaning our toilets regularly. So after seeing an ad for Kaboom toilet cleaners I went to Revain to see what they had to offer. I switched between Fluidmaster and Kaboom products. Both connect to the tank in the same way and only provide the 'cleaner' treated water that goes into the bowl after rinsing. This is necessary because we have had so many problems with dripping pills in the past. Rubber seals in the back of the toilet. But what didn't interest me about the Kaboom system is that it has a screw on the lid that you unscrew to put in new fillers and I've read some reviews where people said the lid leaks over time . Fluidmaster system refills remind me of a fridge water filter cartridge in that each cartridge has its own rubber seal and screws into the housing. Each time you replace it, the seal is new. So I hope it lasts longer and doesn't leak like the Kaboom cleaner. In terms of satisfaction, I am very happy with Fluidmaster. We've had them in both bathrooms for over a month now and the water in both bowls is not filmy at all, not even a bit. It also smells pleasantly clean when the lid is lifted. But he is very weak and frankly not strong at all. As our toilets were Toto Drake, the installation was slightly different than the instructions stated. I went ahead and cut the short white inlet tube from the Fluidmaster and inserted it about an inch into the black Toto tube attached to the fill valve. Fits perfectly, no water leaks out. You can see all of this in the pictures. The rest is installed as indicated in the instructions. I will update this review if anything changes over time. But so far I am very impressed with this product and wish I had found it sooner.
