If I had spent more on this I wouldn't be very happy. Big play in the hinge. The wing door is slightly curved so that it never closes properly all the way around. But the price is right and the long channel comes in handy. I put a small neodymium magnet on the door to help it close better and not flap in the wind and it should be passable indefinitely and serve its purpose. Maybe one day, if the financial possibilities match the motivation, I'll upgrade it to a real gasket with a gasket and tighter tolerances in the manufacturing process. But overall it should do the job. Probably on par with most cheap vents, but with the added benefit of a longer duct.
