This is a water saving showerhead. Works well except for the check valve, it reduces flow to a trickle. The head itself ensures a significant increase in pressure even without modification. Many users modify these heads to increase flow rates. Warning! Drilling out the center of this device will remove the flesh from your face. When converting, consider the diameter of your drill bit. If the drill is too big, quickly turn this shower head into a pressure washer. Hope that helps.
