They do nothing
I kept them sealed in the original box they came in until I needed them. Vain. Put them in mylar bags, seal the bags, but the small amount of air left in the bag will stay in the bag. I really expected that they would burn off that small amount of oxygen and vacuum those bags into a hard pack. Yes, no luck at all. I won't buy this again. Maybe I'll have better luck with another brand.
