The OLED screen is the reason why people buy the old version instead of PS Vita Slim. I had a Slim and ended up selling it and bought this one for exactly that reason. Maybe it's just me, but the colors in OLED are more vivid and vibrant in the older version. Games look "deeper" with an OLED display. This system can be configured in English and is compatible with American games. This version features a Toukiden graphic on the back of the Vita. This is not a cheap decal. It's real plastic with art painted on it and it's not worn at all. The only downside to using an imported vita is that the "circle" and "cross" buttons on the main menu are "accept" and "cancel" respectively. In US versions this is toggled. But don't worry, it's only in the main menu. This will NOT affect gameplay when launching the game (except maybe some games that require you to type "accept/cancel" on the main screen). You can easily get used to it or just use the touch screen.
