Review on Denso Radiator: Optimal Heat Dissipation for Efficient Engine Cooling by Tylin Meyer

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Fits but definitely not exactly like OEM

Yes it fits my 1998 Accord perfectly but a few small touches made me pull the stars off. 1. The upper radiator fan bracket is different from the Honda radiator - there are two brackets on the right side (when viewing the radiator from the driver's seat) and the left bracket requires a screw about 10mm longer to actually be used. The left bracket also differs from the Honda radiator in that it uses a clamp bolt bracket instead of a square nut as elsewhere (and OEM Honda). You can actually see that difference in the image here on Revain. The other big difference is that the radiator cap that comes with the unit is actually rated for 0.9 bar and not the 1.1 bar OEM cap. So be careful. My old cap wasn't that old, so I'm going back to my 1.1 cap. You also need to make sure you keep all the old rubber and hardware for the heatsink itself as they don't come with it, especially the bottom rubber feet. Otherwise, the mounting hardware for the heatsink itself is definitely the same. .

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • I won't tell
