My daughter is 7 months old and she enjoys this teether! It's easy to clean (I can hand and machine wash it easily) and it's easy to hang. This toy gets pretty cold in the freezer, but not enough to harm a child. I've found that this toy doesn't melt very quickly (should stay cold) so my daughter tends to play with this toy for a while and then loses interest (perhaps because it's too cold to hold on to). All in all, it's accessible and fun. I would recommend a more active teething toy (more finishes, textures, etc.). This is a very simple cutter.
