The tip you press on the valve is sometimes difficult to read, so it may take a few tries. Some bikes have figured out how to use the Presta adapter and you have to remember that you have to partially unscrew the Presta valve tip first. You install an adapter or you get no display. Press the Presta tip with your finger and when you hear a sound of air, unscrew the adapter. I know some people have asked this question. I would have preferred two adapters in this set rather than one, but it comes with a nice case and the meter is large and sturdy. Because it maintains maximum pressure until you reset it, it's easy to read without having to constantly hold it on the tire valve.
