Shown for comparison is the Walmart ball I had for my hamster. The design of this ball is much safer (nothing sticks out inside) and the plastic is much more transparent compared to the other ball. It has wider vents and my hamster moves more naturally. Because of her size, she doesn't get into as many small spaces, she's more visible, and she doesn't have to arch her back to get the ball rolling. Be sure to wipe the ball before putting your pet in it!
