I really like these reading glasses. I use a lot of different power reading glasses. And that is the power I would use for closer work. I like that they are beautiful yet durable. The glasses are made of durable plastic and are decorated with beautiful decorative rhinestones on the front. They have spring hinges so it seems like they'll last a little longer than some of the cheaper reading glasses I've had. Their color is like a true dark purple, almost black. Behind the front of the glasses is a translucent pink that accentuates the purple. They look very nice and are comfortable to wear. Rhinestones don't make them too shiny. I would say they are an understatement. What I like most about these glasses is that the lenses are clear. A lot of these reading glasses today have a blue blocking coating, which I think a lot of people like, but for me it gets in the way of really good near vision. I prefer uncoated lenses and definitely not this one. I am very happy with these glasses and think they will last a long time. Thank you for reading my review, Becky Brooks.
