Review on Dayco Automatic Tensioner Assembly, Model 89269 by Dennis Reed

Only Lasted 3 Months and Approx 3000 Miles. Install a new belt and tensioner at the same time. As another reviewer wrote, it makes a howling noise when the engine is cold. After warming up it all goes away, like my OEM. This is unusual as I have never had a problem with Dayco tensioners in the past. they have always lasted over 60,000 km. bad party? installed gates for half the cost and report back. the truck is silent again :)
