I probably have about 50 brushes and these are the nicest ones. The most I've ever spent on a single brush was around $15, but these are by far my favorites. The set offers pleasant variations in size and shape (flat, round, square), the bristles are very soft and hold well. Even after washing, I didn't have any loose or uneven bristles, which often happens with my cheaper brushes. The brushes left very clean and even strokes on my canvas. In terms of the number of brushes and how good they are, $60 is a really good price for 12 really good brushes. Also, they look really pretty.
