It is necessary to cut a large groove in the bottom of the door.

I haven't installed this yet as installation requires removing the door and cutting out a giant molding at the bottom of the door. I think I should have expected this before ordering, but I didn't. I don't think it was mentioned in the description. I'm sure it will work fine once installed, just didn't expect such a big job. In fact, it was thought that you would have to remove and install part of the length of the door. I have the tools to do the work that needs to be done. Not everyone will. Beware.
