Surprisingly good for a low price

I am very happy with this purchase. It has a few flaws but they are not bad enough to lower this rating to 4 stars. Here's the breakdown: Pros: - Strong magnet - Multiple lighting options including warmth and brightness - Fairly long cord - Controls are a reasonable distance from the main light. - Comes with a sticking magnet if you don't have a magnet. Surface. -No weird buzzing noises that some lights make. -Has a little lip around the light so you don't accidentally look at it when it's at eye level. Cons: -It gets warm after a few seconds. Hours so it can be painful to move. I basically keep it in one place, so I don't care. Also, the edges don't get hot, so you can move it safely. At maximum brightness there is a very faint buzz from itself. Sounds like the hum of a distant refrigerator. Not too strenuous but can be annoying when it's very quiet. Luckily I use the second lightest setting most of the time. - Someone else mentioned that the buttons are very "clicky", and they are! Well, the buttons require a fairly firm press that makes an audible click. Not critical, but I'm definitely used to buttons that are easier to press. For me this is not a minus, but there is no adapter in the kit. I have a lot of these at home and I have dedicated USB sockets so it's not a problem. Overall, this is a reliable light that makes studying at my desk a lot easier. I definitely recommend this one, SPECIALLY because others in this price range don't even compare.
