This is a fairly simple connection that connects two 4" hoses (or a hose and other 4" female item) together. The hoses simply slide onto the two ends and are held in place with 4" hose clamps (not included but available from many vendors here at Revain). While it's strong under normal conditions, it's made of plastic so it can break if stepped on or crushed. Remember that the key to a good dust extraction compared to this type of dust extraction is to keep the length of the hose short; So 3 or 4 of these in one run will greatly affect your gathering ability. Whenever you can bring your tool and dust bag closer together to increase airflow.
