Review on Formula Energy 185/65 R14 86H summer by Micha Borkowski ᠌
A little bit not what I expected, generally fine.
They stand on an accent on the 14th radius. Bought before last summer. I took off my winter (Nordman-5, also the same hakapellita 5), immediately felt the beauty of the quality of asphalt in 2022. There are a lot of vibrations on the asphalt of poor quality, it has become much noisier, although in my winter the remainder of the spikes is 90%. There is an aquaplan. And those who say that they don’t, just didn’t drive into a 3 cm puddle 5 meters long at a speed of 120. But I drove in and believe me, I almost became gray-haired :) And so the tires were on a solid 3.5. I bought them for 2k per cylinder, so I don’t blame much and don’t put a lot of minuses, because you shouldn’t expect something cool from 2k.
Pros
- I did not notice any obvious advantages. Unless it began to be better controlled, after a 5-year-old Yokohama c. Drive 2 (it was not erased to 0, just old rubber, it had already lost its properties)
Cons
- Noise. Poor rolling resistance for tires with a high profile (my father has the same, but at 17 radius 215/50, behaves completely differently). Vibrations on bad asphalt
